2026 Dominican Republic Medical Trip

We are headed to the Dominican Republic to partner with GO Ministries to help Connect People to Jesus.

Trip Focus
We will partner with GO Ministries, our partner in the Dominican Republic. We will partner with their medical team and help further their ministry. GO Ministries empowers local leaders to redeem people, renew communities, and restore creation through mutual transformation. Medical teams spend three days helping lead mobile medical clinics alongside our local medical staff. We intentionally serve with GO Church Planting communities, so that it can be an effective outreach tool for local pastors. Mobile clinics consist of four stations: Triage, provider assessment, pharmacy, and prayer. Team members work in all four areas. Other days are spent exploring other Focused Areas of Ministry, doing service projects and children’s ministry, and serving alongside our Dominican and Haitian local leaders.
Ideal Participant
We are looking for 6-10 adults ideally with medical backgrounds (or current medical students). This trip is best suited for participants who are physically fit to handle the long days of activity and hot weather. A heart for serving in a challenging environment with patience and flexibility is essential.
Trip Commitment
Participants will commit to raising funds for their trip through letter writing, fundraising and prayer.
Participants will commit to attending the DR Planning Meetings
Participants will commit to following leadership in the DR and agreeing to be a total team player.
Travel: We will fly into Santiago-Cibao International Airport and a current passport is needed. Passport services and information are available at: travel.state.gov under the tab “US Passports.”
Immunizations:
GO Ministries requires up-to-date Tetanus/Diphtheria vaccinations for all trips. The cost of immunizations is not included in your trip costs.
