Purpose (Summary)

The Comptroller will work closely with the CFO to ensure the organization as a whole remains in good financial standing.  The Comptroller builds financial strategies and reports to help improve financial health and meet long-term goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Directional and supportive financial oversight of Ministry Departments and Business Heads. 
  • Manage and oversee the organization’s day-to-day financial decisions and transactions.
  • Develop plans for overall financial growth.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and meet with department heads in order to keep them informed and accountable.
  • Evaluate and manage financial risk.
  • Create and manage yearly budgets.
  • Oversee bookkeeping.

Expectations:

  • Full time position, working Monday through Friday 9-5.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings when available

  • Associate’s Degree or higher required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and other financial standards and requirements.

Position Structure and Level 

Reporting: This position reports to the CFO.

Organization: This position is part of the Commons at Trinity Finance Team.

Purpose (summary)

The successful candidate for this position will be expected to operate and lead Trinity Commons Coffee and its locations.  This position serves as an extension of the mission of Generations Christian Church connecting people to Jesus through the Goodness of Coffee.  They will have a heart to serve others with excellence as they coach and train employees to provide an exceptional experience every time a customer interacts with Trinity Commons Coffee.  It is essential that this individual understands that this is a mission field.

One Sentence

Ensure an elite experience among staff and customer interactions as they bring the goodness and share the gospel in a way that is not intimidating but serving and investing in their lives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate and lead Trinity Commons Coffee: 
    • Recruit, train, schedule, and lead hourly staff to ensure the bar is operational daily at both coffee bars. 
    • Create and cultivate necessary systems and behaviors for operating Trinity Commons Coffee  
    • Disciple your team and grow a ministry mindset within them that is focused on loving people first and creating a family atmosphere where team members feel cared for so they care for the customers
    • Develop a reasonable menu that facilitates community among our customers. 
    • Ensure high quality products is being consistently produced by the team 
    • Partner with the marketing team to carry out the story of Trinity Commons Coffee to the community.

Required Skills & Capabilities:

  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have ministry experience or educational equivalent in religious studies. 
  • Must pass a Background Check
  • At least 1 year of Barista experience
  • Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Purpose (Summary)
The successful candidate for this position will be expected to clean and maintain the facility at The Commons At Trinity. This includes but is not limited to cleaning and restocking of Generations Christian Church, Generations Christian Academy, Amazing Explorers Academy, Trinity Coffee Company And Seven Springs Crossfit. This person works closely with the school administration, Building and Grounds Staff and other custodial staff to provide for the property custodial needs in a timely and efficient manner.

One Sentence
Ensure the cleanliness of Generations and its business entities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
  • Clean windows, shampoo carpets, and supply restrooms
  • Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees
  • Secure building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
  • Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs

Required Skills & Capabilities:

  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass a Florida Livescan Background Check
  • At least 1 years of experience in janitorial services
  • Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite 
  • Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
  • Excellent stamina and physical health
  • Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Part-Time Position

 

Purpose (Summary)

The successful candidate for this position will be expected to maintain the facility at The Commons At Trinity. This includes but is not limited to Maintenance work of Generations Christian Church, Generations Christian Academy, Amazing Explorers Academy, Trinity Coffee Company And Seven Springs CrossFit. This person works closely with the school administration, Building and Grounds Staff and other custodial staff to provide for the property custodial and maintenance needs in a timely and efficient manner.

Monday- Thursday

Part Time Position

 

The Teacher Assistant is responsible for assisting a classroom lead teacher with the general supervision and management of a class of children. He or she must be knowledgeable in developmentally appropriate practices and will assist teachers in supervising all children in their room ensuring activities and curriculum are adhered to as required by the Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helps and supervises children during all activities
  • Counsels children when social, academic, or adjustment problems arise
  • Develops, plans, and prepares instructional aids/materials for classroom activities
  • Ensures that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained
  • Helps children with meal times and clean-up
  • Helps with all classroom paperwork, such as daily notes, student accident reports, and attendance reports
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested
  • Helps prepare and implement classroom lesson plans, programs, and schedules
  • Ensures that all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used and maintained properly
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position
  • Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality

  • Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels as well as with parents, coworkers, and management
  • Must be able to lift fifty pounds, sit on the floor and interact with children

We are seeking an Infant, ones and twos teacher for our preschool to join our organization at Generations Christian Academy! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.

The Teacher is responsible for implementing curriculum in the classroom and for the supervision and management of children in the classroom. He or she must be knowledgeable in developmentally appropriate practices to supervise assistant teachers and children in their room ensuring activities and curriculum are adhered to as required by the Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained
  • Completes classroom paperwork, such as daily notes, student accident reports, and attendance reports
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested
